TORONTO — Pat Sajak, host of Wheel of Fortune, said Monday he feels “terrible” that a Fast and the Furious puzzle aired on the show two days after Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash.
“Taped long ago & went out to 200 local stations days ago,” Sajak tweeted.

A post on the popular game show’s official Twitter page explained the episode that aired Monday was taped on Oct. 4.
“It’s an unfortunate coincidence,” read a tweet.
“The hearts of everyone at Wheel of Fortune go out to the family, friends & fans of Paul Walker.”
The CEO of fragrance company Cody Inc. also issued an apology Monday after a commercial for Davidoff Cool Water cologne featuring Walker aired during a soccer match in the U.K.
