Police responded to reports of gunshots both inside and outside the building located at 105 Avenue and 115 Street. Investigations have since revealed that an argument had broken out between several people outside the building before the shots were fired, police said.

The EPS says no one was injured in the shooting, but believe hundreds of people visited the community centre throughout the night who may have helpful information for police.

Officers are asking anyone with information related to the shooting to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
