SASKATOON – A wind warning is in place for most of southern and central Saskatchewan on Wednesday.

Environment Canada says a low pressure system moving through the northern prairies is bringing with it a mild pacific air mass.

With the mild air, strong winds will occur, mainly in the afternoon. Winds will generally be in the 50-60 km/h range but at times will gust to 100 km/h or stronger.
