TORONTO – Rob Ford’s celebrity status in the United States has reached new heights as he was mentioned on the game show Jeopardy! Thursday night.
The Toronto mayor’s name was part of the answer category under “Scandal.”
“In 2013 Rob Ford, mayor of this 4th-largest city in N. America, first said he smoked weed, not crack…then yes, ok, crack, too,” host Alex Trebak read.
A contestant rightfully replied “What is Toronto?” for the $800 question.
Ford admitted last fall of smoking crack cocaine in one of his “druken stupors.”
Earlier this week, the mayor made international headlines once again after a video emerged of him rambling profanely in Jamaican patois inside a Toronto restaurant.
Ford’s Jeopardy! appearance quickly made its rounds on Twitter.
