MONTREAL – The head of the federation that represents specialist doctors is going to run for the Quebec Liberals.
Gaetan Barrette will be the Quebec Liberal candidate in La Piniere, just south of Montreal in Brossard.
The riding has been represented by the Liberals’ Fatima Houda-Pepin since 1994.
Houda-Pepin recently parted company with the Liberals over the party’s stance on the government’s proposed charter of values.
