WINNIPEG- Their school experiment went where no Canadian experiment has gone before – space. And now it has arrived safely back home.
Three students from an Argyle Elementary school carefully examined the small package of yeast and green tea they sent to the International Space Station in January for changes, before repackaging it and sending it onto Cancer Care Manitoba.

The students have been studying the tea’s anti-oxidant effects to see if it has any impact on cosmic radiation.
Their school experiment was the only on in Canada allowed on the ISS.
