Flights have been cancelled and schools and government offices are closed as a fierce spring blizzard roars across Atlantic Canada Wednesday.
Environment Canada is predicting up to 50 centimetres of snow for some areas of Nova Scotia and PEI.

The entire region has been warned about potentially damaging winds in excess of 100 kilometres per hour.
