U.S. Senate hopeful Joni Ernst is gaining a lot of attention for hew new tongue-in-cheek campaign ad (see above) which has gone viral with more than 360,000 views on YouTube.
Ernst kicks off the ad talking about how her farming background will help her in Washington, “I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm, so when I get to Washington I will know how to cut pork.”

The ad caught the attention of Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon who joked, “I don’t know what she’s running for but just give her the job!”
