Simon Fraser University wants to test out a possible new treatment for autism.
Researchers want to assess whether treatment in a hyperbaric chamber, where people breathe in higher than normal concentrations of oxygen, would be effective.

There is some indication the treatment improves blood circulation in the brain, but there has been no scientific evidence yet of how that might benefit people with autism.
The proposal is not cheap however, as the pilot phase of the project will cost an estimated $400,000.
