Rob Ford releasing new bobbleheads to help campaign fundraising

TORONTO – If you didn’t lineup to get the original Rob Ford bobblehead, there will soon be at least three new editions to get your hands on.

They’ll be on sale at his April 17 campaign launch at the Congress Centre.

“I know we have three that are coming out,” the mayor said. “There might be a fourth or a fifth one.”

Ford is releasing the collector’s items as part of his campaign fundraising efforts. He wouldn’t say how much his campaign has raised thus far, only to say it’s “a lot of money.”

The new bobbleheads include a Chain of office edition, a Jimmy Kimmel edition and a “football tie” edition.

“My favourite bobblehead is probably the chain of office,” he said, adding that he gave Jimmy Kimmel a bobblehead.

The mayor wore an NFL football themed tie during his admission of crack-use. The tie, and the admission, went on to make international headlines.
