Measles clinics announced in Calgary

UPDATE AT 3:43 P.M. MT ON APRIL 28: AHS has expanded the clinics, to allow for children as well as adults.

CALGARY- Alberta Health Services has announced details for those wanting to get vaccinated against measles.

People considered susceptible are those born in 1970 or later, with a lack of documented evidence of immunizations against measles.

The clinic times are as follows:

Wednesday April 30th from 1:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m.

  • South Calgary (31 Sunpark Plaza SE 3rd floor)
  • Northgate (#A154, 495 – 36 Street NE)

Saturday May 3rd from 9:30a.m. -5:00 p.m.

  • South (31 Sunpark Plaza SE 3rd floor)
  • Brentwood (Unit 302, 3630 Brentwood Road NW)

Clinics are drop-in, so no appointments will be made ahead of time. Those wishing to vaccinate students or children should book an appointment at their local public health office. Pregnant women are not eligible.
