TORONTO — Cameras will start rolling June 23 in Rouleau, Saskatchewan — about an hour south of Regina — on a Corner Gas movie.
The 90-minute film will reunite the cast of the popular Canadian TV series, which ended its five-year run in 2009.
The residents of Dog River discover the town has been mismanaged, forcing residents to pack up and leave. While rallying to save their town, they discover a devious plot by a big company.

Brent Butt, Gabrielle Miller, Eric Peterson, Fred Ewanuick, Janet Wright, Lorne Cardinal, Tara-Spencer and Nancy Robertson will reprise their roles.
Corner Gas: The Movie will open at Cineplex cinemas and air on television before it is released on DVD during the holiday season.
Fans can get involved by contributing to a Kickstarter campaign that hopes to raise $100,000 in 30 days for the film.
The Corner Gas series won seven Gemini awards and aired in over two dozen countries.
