TORONTO – Premier Kathleen Wynne says Ontario voters will face a very “stark” choice on June 12 between Liberals who want to invest in the province and Progressive Conservatives who want to cut 100,000 public sector jobs.
Campaigning in Toronto today, Wynne says the Liberal budget showed they have a much more positive vision for the province.

Wynne says the Progressive Conservatives’ plan starts with “cutting and tearing down much of what has been built.”

The Liberal premier has characterized the choice in this election as between her party and the Tories, and said today that the NDP’s campaign platform contains many ideas that were in the Liberal budget that the New Democrats refused to support, which triggered the election.

She calls the NDP platform a list of disconnected ideas that will confuse voters.
Wynne spoke to an English-as-a-second-language class in Toronto today, talking about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and how it allows her as a gay woman to live without fear.
