TORONTO — Justin Bieber pleaded guilty Wednesday to a misdemeanour vandalism charge in connection to the egging of a former neighbour’s house.
The 20-year-old Canadian pop star was not present at his arraignment, where he was placed on two years of probation and ordered to pay $80,900 in restitution.

Bieber was also ordered to perform five days of community service and attend a 12-week anger management program.
Police raided the singer’s then-home in California in January after he was accused of pelting eggs at the mansion of a neighbour.
A misdemeanor vandalism charge carries penalties of up to one year in jail and a maximum fine of $1,000.
Bieber is already facing a DUI charge in Miami Beach and an assault charge in Toronto.
