GLASGOW – Canada’s Damian Warner has won gold in the decathlon at the Commonwealth Games.
The 24-year-old from London, Ont., recorded a score of 8,282 for the victory that comes a year after he won bronze at the world championships.

It was Warner’s first decathlon of the season. He was sidelined earlier in the year with a leg injury.
