KANSAS CITY – The Kansas City Chiefs have released former Saskatchewan Roughrider Weston Dressler.

Dressler signed with the Chiefs in the off-season after the Riders released him to allow him to pursue his NFL dream.

The native of Bismark, N.D. spent six year with the Riders, making 442 catches for 6,531 yards and 43 touchdowns.

He surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving plateau in five of those seasons.

In three preseason games with the Chiefs, Dressler had no receptions.

Dressler is now a free agent and can sign with any NFL or CFL team.
