TORONTO – Coun. Denzil Minnan-Wong was re-elected in Toronto’s Ward 34, Don Valley East with 63 per cent of the vote.
Minnan-Wong, who chaired the city’s public works and infrastructure committee, has thrown his support behind John Tory in the mayoral race, saying he believes Tory would place congestion at the top of the his agenda and would be able to work together with council to see real solutions to Toronto’s gridlock. Minnan-Wong slammed the Ford administration to halting progress at city hall.
