Coun. Lyn Hall has beat out former councillor Don Zurowski to replace outgoing Mayor Shari Green in Prince George, B.C. Green announced earlier this month that she was pursuing federal politics, running for the Conservative nomination in Cariboo-Prince George.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, voters across British Columbia went to the polls in the 2014 civic elections. Polls were open in Prince George, B.C., from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In addition to electing a mayor, council, and school trustees, the Prince George electorate also voted in a community opinion referendum on the practice of fluoridating the city’s water supply.
