SASKATOON – Nolan Reid scored his first of the season midway through the third period and it stood as the winner as the Saskatoon Blades edged No. 7 Medicine Hat Tigers 5-4 on Friday. Brett Stovin led the Saskatoon (11-29-3) offence with a pair of goals.

Tyler Lewington, Matt Bradley, Dryden Hunt and Trevor Cox supplied the offence for the Tigers (29-12-2).
The Blades host the Kootenay Ice next on Saturday night.
