WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Police Service said goodbye to one of its most successful members earlier this week.
Judge, a Police Service Dog who spent more than ten years protecting his city passed away on Wednesday.

Judge and his handler Detective Sergeant Scott Taylor made more than 500 arrests during their decade long partnership. The two are considered the best K9 team in Winnipeg’s history.
The legendary dog retired in April to be with Taylor and his family. After nine months of retirement he passed away.
Police Service Dog Judge has 23 offspring that are working for police service’s across North America and is the grandfather of nine more pups who are also working for various policing agencies.
