Man sought by police after girl approached in Silverwood Heights

SASKATOON – For the second time this week, Saskatoon police are investigating children being approached by a suspicious man. The latest incident happened late Thursday afternoon in the Silverwood Heights neighbourhood.

Police say a young girl was walking home from school around 3:45 p.m. when she was approached by a man on Russell Road. He asked her for directions and then attempted to get her into a vehicle with him.

The man is described as being close to 60 years old with dark skin. He was driving a white four-door car.

On Tuesday, a man approached two boys who were walking home from school in College Park East. One boy was able to scare off the man by yelling.
