HALIFAX – Nova Scotia is expanding a program that helps children with autism get treatment before they enter school.
The provincial government says it’s adding between 20 and 25 new spaces in the program starting in September — creating a total of 110 spaces.

Total funding for the program will be 10-million-dollars a year.
There are currently 25 children on the waitlist who will enter school at age six in 2016 next year.
