Police officers were called to Mayor Rob Ford’s Etobicoke home after a reported domestic dispute, according to the Toronto Star.
Ford’s mother-in-law called police between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Christmas Day, claiming the mayor had been drinking and was taking his children to Florida against the wishes of his wife, The Star reports.

The report also states that members of Toronto Police Service’s youth and family violence unit are investigating.
No charges have been laid.
