WINNIPEG — Members of the union representing Winnipeg transit drivers and maintenance workers rejected an Offer of Settlement from the city of Winnipeg and the union’s negotiating committee.
Transit officials say there is no indication from the union that job action is imminent.

The city wants to reach a settlement as soon as possible according to a news release sent out Friday evening. The Amalgamated Transit Union and the city have scheduled more negotiations to continue talks.
Winnipeg Transit employs approximately 1,100 bus operators and about 250 maintenance staff.
