The number of dead has surpassed 7,000 people in Nepal after a devastating earthquake last week.
Aside from the human toll, the tremor also damaged some of Kathmandu’s historic structures.

Swayambhunath temple, which dates back to the 5th century, is one of at least 68 cultural heritage sites in Nepal that were damaged, according to UNESCO.
