MELFORT, Sask. – RCMP believe a 70-year-old man’s death may be suspicious in nature. At around 12:05 a.m. Monday, officers were called to a residence in Melfort, Sask., where the body of a dead male had been reported.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday in Saskatoon. The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
The Major Crime Unit South, forensic identification and the office of the chief coroner are assisting with the investigation.
