2 facing charges after thefts from Saskatoon RV dealership

SASKATOON – Two men are in custody following a suspicious vehicle investigation by Saskatoon police. The pair are facing charges after thefts from an RV dealership.

Officers noticed the suspicious vehicle Friday evening while on patrol in the area of Barr Place.

The men originally gave officers false names. The vehicle was then searched and officers located numerous stolen televisions, break and enter tools and two imitation handguns.

The televisions were traced to the dealership in the 500-block of Brand Street.

A similar break-in happened at the same location on March 12, where officers found a bank card believed to have been left behind by a suspect.

A 24-year-old man is facing six charges in both break-ins including theft, possession of stolen property, possession of break and enter tools and obstructing police.

A 26-year-old man is facing possession of stolen property, possession of break and enter tools and obstructing police charges in the May 22 break-in.

Both are scheduled to be in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday.
