Peacock on the lam returns to High Park Zoo

WATCH ABOVE: Toronto’s runaway peacock finally makes it back home

TORONTO – A High Park Zoo peacock that escaped its enclosure and was seen flying around the Roncessvales neighbourhood of Toronto for the past week has returned home.

Toronto city councillor Sarah Doucette wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning the peacock is visiting the bisons in the zoo pen.

“So just a hop skip and a jump and he will be home,” she wrote.

Earlier this week, staff with the city of Toronto had set up feeding stations in local parks to attract the peacock which was spotted on residential rooftops last Friday.
