REGINA – RCMP and EMS rushed to the scene of a serious collision on Highway 1 that killed two people Wednesday.
A 68-year-old male and a 60-year-old female both from Emerald Park, Sask. were killed in the collision.

The lone person in the other vehicle was airlifted to hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash happened near the Pilot Butte turnoff around 4:30 p.m.
RCMP had part of the highway blocked off until 10:30 p.m. to collect evidence.
