A man was sent to hospital following a stabbing in East Vancouver Friday night.
Police were called to a gas station at E. 49th Avenue and Victoria Drive around 11:00 p.m. where they found a man with multiple stab wounds.
A silver sedan was left at the scene and a puddle of blood could be spotted near the passenger side of the vehicle. The car matches the description of one that fled from the Fraserview Hall minutes earlier. Police say a large fight broke out at the hall, located at Fraser St. and SE Marine Drive, after an engagement party.

Police say the victim found at the gas station is not cooperating with officers, but is believed to have come from the hall. He is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made in the case and an investigation is ongoing.
In what proved to be a violent Friday night, police in Burnaby dealt with a separate late-night stabbing that sent three men to hospital.
