MONTREAL – Some residents in Montreal West are finding the perfect way to beat the heat and cope with rising temperatures – by swimming day and night.
The town’s municipal pool on Bedbrook Avenue has extended its opening hours until Thursday.
Free swim will last until 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
“Saturday and Sunday were both very busy days at the pool,” said Nicky Drummond, a Montreal West lifeguard.
Montreal West is not the only municipality extending its pool hours to help Montrealers keep cool.
