NEW YORK – Top-ranked Novak Djokovic downed Roger Federer on Sunday to capture his second U.S Open men’s title.
Djokovic beat the second-seeded Federer in four sets, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

The Serbian’s other U.S Open title came in 2011 when he defeated Rafael Nadal.
Federer won five straight U.S Open finals between 2004-08.
The start of the match was delayed by more than three hours because of rain.
