Global News called the Brunswick medical clinic several times for comment, but have not heard back.

Patients’ advocate Paul Brunet explained the clinic is part of the Groupe de médecine de famille (GMF) system and thus receives a subsidy.

He said Paradis has the right to have her children seen by a doctor, or at least be referred to another clinic in the system that will see them.

Paradis said being sent somewhere else wasn’t an acceptable option.

She said in the last two years, the clinic has turned away both her son and four-year-old daughter on four occasions.
