Riders send veteran QB Kevin Glenn to Montreal

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have traded veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn to the Montreal Alouettes for a fifth round pick in the 2016 CFL Draft.

Glenn has suited up in nine games for the Riders this season, completing 171 passes for 2,174 yards and nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Glenn was acquired by the Riders in 2015 to become the teams backup quarterback but was thrust into the starting role after Darian Durant was injured in the team’s first game of the season.

The Alouettes will be Kevin Glenn’s seventh team in the CFL.
