BEAVERBANK, N.S. – RCMP confirm a second person, a 22-year-old woman from Lower Sackville, has died after a car crash on Beaverbank Road early Sunday morning.
RCMP were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Beaverbank Road in around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators said a Honda Civic with four occupants left the road and crashed. One 21-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle has also been taken to hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Two women were ejected from the car during the crash. The ages of the women have not been released. They were both taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the investigation into the cause of the crash continues, but alcohol is believed to be a factor.
RCMP have the 2000-block of Beaverbank Road closed to traffic while a collision analyst works at the scene.
