Sanders said the crash happened about 4:30 p.m. Saturday on a county road about 5 miles (8 kilometres) north of Granbury.

Dramatic video recorded by Sanders’ friend Brian Fisher, who was riding behind him, showed the motorcycle Sanders was driving and on which Simpson was a passenger passing a car on a two-lane road when the car veered into it, upsetting the motorcycle and sending the riders into the roadway.

No arrests were made at the scene.
