Mounties say a shooting in Meadow Lake, Sask. that left two men dead is a murder-suicide. Police were called to a home in the community 255 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon Thursday morning for a report of gunshots.
Officers said they arrived to find the two men outside the residence suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Mounties said the two men, 70 and 73 were known to each other. Their names have not been released. Both men are from Meadow Lake.
An autopsy has been ordered for the 70-year-old man. It will be held in Saskatoon Nov. 9.

Police said evidence gathered during their investigation leads them to believe no one else was involved.
Meadow Lake RCMP and members of the major crimes unit north continue to investigate.
