MONTREAL – Police are investigating a suspicious case of arson after a car was set on fire in Montreal’s Park-Extension borough.

At around 2:40 a.m., a parked car was set on fire on d’Anvers Avenue at the corner of Outremont Avenue.
“Following the fire, there were some witnesses who heard people who fled the scene, but there are no descriptions of the suspects,” said Jean-Pierre Brabant with Montreal police.

“It’s the second event in two days that a car was set on fire.”
The car is not known to police.
