Calgary police are asking south Rundle residents to be on the lookout for firearms and shell casings after gunshots were heard Thursday night.
At about 9:30 p.m., police were called for reports of a suspicious vehicle but heard gunshots while they responded.
No injuries or reports of property damage were reported, and a search was unfruitful.
The Guns and Gangs Unit is asking people living in homes bordered by Rundlehorn Drive on the north, 16 Avenue N.E. on the south, 36 Street N.E. on the west and 48 Street on the east to check their property for any signs of gunshots or weapons.
