Free events and admission to CMHR on International Human Rights Day

WINNIPEG – The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is hosting a variety of free events and special programming all day to celebrate International Human Rights Day.

Live performances will start in the morning Thursday including participatory theatre and a choir sing along.

There will also be a scavenger hunt, art projects, questions sessions and lectures with researchers.

A special Canadian citizenship ceremony will also give newcomers their Canadian citizenship at 1:30 p.m.

Anyone can tour through the museum for free and join the activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday.
