TORONTO — Four people were wounded after a bullets flew outside a building where a baby shower being held Saturday night, police said.
Police received a call at approximately 8 p.m. to report the shooting outside a building near Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West.
Investigators say two men with gunshot wounds to their legs were taken to hospital just after eight o’clock Saturday night. Paramedics said one of the men was seriously injured.

Neighbourhood residents said more than a dozen shots were fired, and that several children were in the vicinity at the time. A pregnant guest at the shower was also taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police said they were looking for two black males wearing dark clothing who fled the scene on foot.
Toronto has seen a rash of gunfire incidents that began Friday afternoon when a 28-year old man, who police say was known to them, was shot and killed in the downtown entertainment district while sitting in a parked car.
Police are trying to determine whether any of the shootings are linked.
