KELOWNA — A Kelowna woman doesn’t have to worry about money this Christmas now that she’s a millionaire.
The B.C. Lottery Corporation has announced that Tuong Van Mai has claimed her $1 million prize from the Dec. 16, 2015 Lotto 649 draw.

“I was shocked and overwhelmed but I still went into work that day,” says Mai.
She plans on buying a new home for her parents.
“The money will be put towards buying a new home for my retired parents because they have done so much to support me,” she says.
The winning ticket was purchased at Superstore in Westbank.
