It’s a new year, and there appears to be some new love on the horizon for Canadian music star Justin Bieber and his longtime friend, Hailey Baldwin.
The daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin (brother to Alec) has been in Bieber’s social sphere for many years, but the two have been just friends. Now it seems the twosome has been elevated to couple status.

On Sunday evening, Bieber posted this picture to his Instagram account:
He did not write a caption, but tagged Baldwin in the photo.

To remove all doubt, the 21-year-old singer later posted this shot, showing the couple enjoying themselves at New Year’s festivities in Anguilla and St. Bart’s.

In the past, the young pair has denied any romantic involvement. Baldwin, 19, told E! News in February 2015: “We’re just friends. I’ve known him for a very long time, since I was about 13. But any male in his place, any girl that’s around him they automatically assume. That’s the world we live in. I’m just trying to be there for him and support him as a friend.”
