Shop selling Nova Scotia-made liquor to open at Halifax airport

Travellers passing through Halifax will soon be able to buy local liquor at the airport.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport announced Tuesday that a selection of Nova Scotia-made alcohol products will be available at Liquid Assets, which is due to open in April.

“We know there is a demand for the products offered by Liquid Assets and the fact they are locally made makes them even more desirable,” said Ian Arthur, chief commercial officer of the Halifax International Airport Authority, in a news release.

The shop will carry local wines, spirits, beers and ciders, and will be set up in a post-security location in the terminal.
