Lethbridge assault victim rushed to hospital with serious injuries

LETHBRDIGE – Police have charged two women in connection to a stabbing along Columbia Boulevard on Wednesday.

It happened in the 900 block of Columbia Blvd. W. at around 6:30 a.m.

Police found the victim, a 21-year-old man, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to Chinook Regional Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. His condition was later upgraded to stable.

Peggy Anne Holysinger, 22, is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and three counts of breaching conditions of a recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

Linnea Brooke White Quills, 24, is charged with obstruction and breaching conditions of a recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 25.

Investigators said both women are known to the victim.
