RCMP have arrested a 20-year-old man facing numerous human trafficking charges including trafficking a 14-year-old Dartmouth girl.
Owen Ross Gibson-Skier of East Preston was arrested this morning in Cole Harbour.
He’s being charged with over 10 charges including:

- procuring a person under the age of 18,
- trafficking a person under the age of 18,
- sexual assault,
- invitation to sexual touching,
- sexual interference,
- assault,
- uttering threats,
- advertising sexual services,
- material benefit from trafficking a person under the age of 18
- and material benefit from sexual services and breach of probation.

As of Saturday morning, he was in custody being interviewed by investigators related to the noted offences.
Mr. Gibson-Skeir will be remanded for the weekend and appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday March 21.
