REGINA – Two people have been arrested after a lengthy standoff in North Central Regina on Wednesday.
Police went to the 1100 block of McTavish Street at 6:25 a.m. to arrest a man wanted in connection with the homicide that happened on Tuesday in North Central.
The man barricaded himself in the house and refused to come out.
At around 3:00 p.m. police were able to successfully remove a male and a female from the home and take both into custody.
The house is close to a daycare which was locked and secured with a police perimeter during the standoff.
The investigation by police is ongoing and charges have not been laid to either individual.
