Dennis Oland’s legal team to take fight for bail to Supreme court

Dennis Oland is taking his fight to get bail to the highest court in Canada.

After two failed attempts to have Oland released pending the appeal of his murder conviction, the businessman’s legal team announced Friday they will appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Oland was convicted on Dec. 19, 2015 of the second-degree murder of his father, Richard Oland.

He was sentenced to life in prison in February.
