Tip line set up to report cases of animal cruelty

Cases of animal cruelty have been making headlines in Manitoba recently and now a tip line is being set up in hopes of preventing more.

The “Paw Tipsters” hotline launches next week. It will operate in cooperation with Crime Stoppers. Rewards of up to $2,000 will be offered to any tips that lead to convictions.

Anyone with information on cases of animal cruelty are asked to call 786-TIPS (8477) or text 274637.
