Costco recalled a chicken and rice product Monday, for fears of listeria contamination. Canadian Food Inspection Agency

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a food recall Monday for a frozen chicken and rice product sold at Costco, due to concerns the product could be contaminated with microbiological listeria.

The product, Ajinomoto brand Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice, was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Costco confirmed there were some free samples of the product handed out at their various stores over the past few months.
